it's that time of year again....
where I spend very little time sleeping and the rest of the time making sure that Artists are happy, the Vendors aren't shit-talking each other, kids aren't sleeping under the registration tables, and ex-wives aren't stalking their ex-husbands, and that the Fire Marshall doesn't come shut us down.
That's right, folks! It's time once again for Tokyo in Tulsa!

Although the convention doesn't 'officially' start until 2pm on Friday, there is always a million and one things to do the few days before in preparation. Add on packing, hair appointments, costume gathering, and picking one's mother up at the airport into the mix, and there's not a lot of down time. As of this post, I have to finish laundry, make welcome packets for artists & vendors, info packets for convention committee, six million different tickets for events, and finish the rest of our badges, at minimum. Oh! And take a shower, too. (trust me, I went running this morning, a shower is sorely needed.)
I will be checking my mail (always!), so if you do need something, just send me a message. I can't promise to be prompt, but I should get back to you eventually :)
