When everything's made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am. 5. Once there was a little boy, Who came from a broken home His fears and dreams kept tucked inside And days were spent alone.
And there once was a little girl Whose life sparkled with light Filled with rainbow butterflies And magical starry nights.
So the angels got together And came up with a plan; Unite this little girl and boy And peered through Jesus’ hands
As they watched the little girl Come to this little boy; Let the sunlight through the glass It was her who taught him joy.
The little boy took baby steps And told her of his life; Showed her the bruises on his back And Mommy and Daddy’s strife.
He told her of his hopes and dreams His weaknesses, his fears How he was so awfully alone And she helped him dry his tears.
In return the little girl, Told him her loneliness inside, Her fail to reach perfection And her wounded pride.
He helped her crack a smile And said it was okay And no matter what the damage done That he was there to stay.
Soon they were inseparable, Their laughter filled the air When one was hurt, the other felt And shielded them with care.
It came to be the little boy Felt a flutter in his heart Whenever she spoke of someone else His world would fall apart.
They parted ways for a summer And to her great surprise, She felt she loved him deeper Than initially realized.
She came back to his side Excited with the news That she, in turn, found more than friendship And believed that it was true.
But him, her sweet protector The one who dried her eyes Had done what he had vowed not to, Indeed had left her side.
The girl could not believe it In a corner in her room She decided to end her life, It was the only thing to do.
You see, he meant the world to her And he just disappeared Forgetting all the memories They shared throughout the years.
The bottle in her hand The tears falling down her face Dreaming of the days they spent; The times she can’t replace.
And she was about to End her short-lived life A phone call made her change her mind, And replace the knife.
He called her as he wept And she melted to his cry And he once again promised her There would never be goodbye.
Years later, the girl is back Where she started from Waiting for that one last call And back to her, he’d come.
But now she is forgotten But for a smile here and there And he will somehow never know Her sadness and despair.
For when she sees the little boy, The one she knew so well She hopes that he will soon return But time will only tell. 6. I love your sense of humor. 7. I like your hair better curly. 8. I wish we could hang out sometime, but I'm afraid to ask.
