Avant graduation
I haven't updated in so long that I feel obligated to say SOMETHING.
With that said, I've had so much going on: finals (ewww...bio), work, internship, and graduation in two days. I only feel nervous because I feel very near certain that I will be tripping my way across the stage. I'm so freaked out. I even tried to find heels I could walk in!!! I just hope it works. We had the Senior Awards Assembly on Friday, which was probably the most boring thing all year, and that includes an awful lot of terribly boring classes. Three hours of misery...the girls on either side of me were asleep for most of it,,,but I stayed awake for it because I knew a lot of the people getting awards. I didn't get any of course...thank God, really...stairs are not my strong point, especially in new heels...falling up the stairs would take away any joy I might get from an award (it's not worth the risk). The best was Yakir, who apparently had to catch a plane, so they just put him on stage and gave him his zillions of awards at once...haha. I personally found this method so time-effective, that it should have been applied to such other people like Jamie and Juliet and Tubi, and all others who spent a solid half-hour on stage they received so many awards...it would be far less painful for us poor, unrecognized individuals, who must sit in the audience for three hours...erg.
Beach week is coming!! Very excited, even though Sonja has yet to pay me...typical Sonja though...and I don't realistically expect her to pay me before the trip. I love Rehobeth, I can't believe no one else in the group has been there before. DC the day after graduation is still under construction...I can tell my parents are not enthusiastic about the idea. But that's okay. Boston was a fun thing...I like wandering around cities by myself...but my parents don't like the idea so much so we'll see where this goes.
Graduation Wednesday. I WILL NOT CRY!!! And just for saying that, I'm sure I will.
