Busy busy busy
Yay...tomorrow's Friday and it's a half-day!!! I have FBLA today after school...I'm such a lousy secretary...I was sick for the last meeting which was practically a month and a half ago...so I have no minutes...and I hope Sonja's good with that.
So third quarter's about to end and I think my grades suck...physics and bio should be fine, along with french and orchestra...I think those are my only four A's...oh, and comparative government where I never know what my grade is...it should be an A, my debate went really well and I didn't perform abnormally horrible on any of the tests, but I hope Rucker has record of the Russia journal I read at the beginning of the quarter...because I'm sure I've lost it by now. Internship..think I have a B because my mentor gave me one...how crazy is that? Sure, I do nothing the program requires, but then again, they don't know what the program requires because Mr. Eckert never did his job. Suprise, suprise. Then there's English, which was a disaster before yesterday's disastrous pop quiz on the chapter I did not read...my fault of course...but then she gave me a 20/50 on this notes assignment for Faulkner, which was completely ridiculous, followed by an obnoxious test on All the King's Men...a book that is so bad that it makes Beloved look like Pride and Prejudice...erg, it's horrible. In most cases, bad books are the function of a lousy/nonexistent plot (Beloved), lousy characters (Huck Finn), but rarely the author's writing, as in this case. The level of detail distracts the reader from the plot instead of enhancing it. So I hope I have a B in that class...I could still get a C and get an A overall, but my dad is insistent that my grades shouldn't slip because I'm a senior haha...yeah right...if I didn't care a year ago, why would I care now?
Busy stuff coming up...half-day and internship tomorrow, work Saturday, unveiling Friday...erg. Then Spring Trip next week...erg...headache.
