This is from Kelly, she can't post from hers so I posted it for her.
I haven't been able to update, but maybe someone will like it and it will post.

My mom called last night to let me know she signed up for Hopsice. For those who don't know what it is, people only sign up for this if u have less than 6 months to live. While ur in hospice they usually have a nurse that lives with you and when u get sick instead of going to the hopstial where their goal is to perserve life and make sure u stay alive, hospice is more of lets keep u as comfortable as possible and when u get sick u get sick, and u pass on ... allow nature to take it's course
When she told me this I was so proud of her. That's a really hard decision to make.. and for me to finally accept. Her battle with life has been unbareable for so long, I wouldn't call it giving up she's done everything possible... gone against the odds in all aspects. In all aspects she's won the battle...
Even though i've been prepared for this for a while, back in april when my mom wrote that e-mail about suicide.. but that doesn't mean it makes it any easier. Both of my brothers called me last night, it didn't seem like they were handling it too well.. david demanded me to come home (it seemed like he was a little teary..) and dan just didn't say much so I talked .. agian his tale tell sign he's really upset.
I told Leah last night and she said don't worry about finding a roomate, b.c i told her I need to go home, I already had my transcript sent to BCC and I mailed my application today for next semester.
My mom could leave next week, next month, etc. Here's what would happen.. she'll get sick as if she has an infection, (shakes, vomiting, etc.), but instead of giving her antibotics,they'll just give her stuff to make her "comfortable"...
I am the one of the strongest people I know, but it's hard not to cry everytime I talk about it...
