I am an evil person. I derive pleasure from the misfortune of others.

It's cold outside, and my only desire is to stay curled up in sweatpants on my futon with a blanket forever. I think this is a theme in here...it's funny to think about how what I write about changes. I definitely went through a "time" phase at the end of senior year/beginning of the summer.

I sat outside in the north quad during my Friday class break, as I usually do. Except that it is getting way too cold out to do that. I'm going to have to face my fears and walk into the library again sometime.

I have nothing to do with myself right now. Michelle, Kelley, & Jessica are all at State, and everyone else is in class. I'd go work out, but I'm waiting on the Schmitts to call me. Laura is touring the campus today (grr, Shannon should be here.), and I'm on call to give the dorm tour. Hence the aimless puttering about this 12x15 (or whatever the dimensions are) cell.

wearing: Gap jeans, l/s grey J. Crew tee, black l/s wool J. Crew cable knit cardigan, cashmere blue Puma "mostras," grey North Face fleece, black barrel Dooney & Bourke, pearl earrings.

eating/drinking: water

music: CMT

bought: lunch at Ramshead Market

reading: SHOP (my affinity for fashion magazines has not disappeared, however)

away message: let's just all go barefoot.

thinking of: waking up at 1:30 sick to my stomach last night...how fun.

down in georgia, pickin' some peaches,
in carolina, barefoot on the beaches...

[Since coming to school, I have cared about clothes less and less. Every morning I wake up wanting to put on the same thing: a "good" (there are criteria...) pair of jeans, a long J. Crew long-sleeved t-shirt in black/white/grey, and comfortable shoes. All of my shoes hurt my feet: topsiders, flats, heels...yes, even my birkenstock clogs. That leaves Rainbows (hypothermia much?) and sneakers. I think I've finally realized that it just doesn't matter how it looks if it isn't comfortable. Hence the comfort level and blandness of my Christmas list. And it makes me happy...]

-diamond stud earrings
-new pearl stud earrings
-mens-inspired tank watch
-big leather winter bag in brown or turquoise
-Ugg "bella" or "classic short" (note: Uggs are hideous, but they look so warm when I'm cold.)
-J. Crew beacon street small or large shoulder bag in black
-J. Crew cashmere l/s tee in chocolate or black
-J. Crew wellsley cable crewneck sweater in black, laurel, or snow
-J. Crew bootcut jeans
-J. Crew madyson high boots in black
-J. Crew l/s crewneck perfect fit tees in any color I don't have (the perfect shirt.)

I think the discount from getting a job at J. Crew would easily pay for the extra gas between Concord Mills & Northlake.
