a letter to the devotees...
i sent this out.. but since my livejournal is a hotspot for nosey devotees, here it is:
Dear Devotees,
For many, many years, perhaps decades, devotees from ISKCON Boston have been going to Salem , MA on Halloween evening for Harinam. In 2006, the temple president told the devotees the day of, that the Governing Body Commissioner of ISKCON Boston was against devotees going on Harinam in Salem on Halloween. However, I have written proof that Niranjana Swami (ISKCON Boston’s GBC) NEVER said that it was a bad idea, and actually believes the contrary. He thinks it is “fantastic” and has encouraged the New Gundica council to promote a Harinam for tomorrow evening.
Since the council is meeting this evening, and more concrete information and a meeting time will not be known until after that meeting, I thought I would let you all know that this happening. So if you are the Harinam type, be prepared to head to Salem , MA tomorrow night!
