the schedule change has stuck since march. some people like it, some don't. some have no opinion.
when Niranjana Swami was here, the class went until 615 instead of 6 cutting into kirtan time. it's all kinda backwards. but it hasn't been talked about much because the latest hot topic has been the potential move of ISKCON boston to the south end.
it's not going to happen... but some people were pushing for it.
having multiple temples in massachusetts is a good idea. but moving from 72 commonwealth avenue to a less safe area that is not as accessible by public transportation is not.
plus, the tp's biggest and main reason for trying to move the temple was because of a structural threat that most likely does not exist. it is a problem that may have existed in the past and can in the future, but there are ways to fix it and FIND OUT FOR SURE before scaring the congregation into agreeing that the move is NECCESSARY.
i'll elaborate more later, my friend is calling me to leave work. it is after 5 so i'm not complaining.
