Sooo....Tonight was one of the best nights of my life.
Nina and I walked into the Joseph Beth at around 5:45 or 6:00 and we were standing by one of the bookcases when a small guy comes up to us. He was talking with some other woman and I recognized his voice from when Mrs. Clark made us listen to that tape of Me Talk Pretty One Day, and I immediately froze up and so did Nina. We were standing there frozen, when he came up to us and asked us if we wanted to do him a favor, and buy him $30 dollars of magazines for the teenagers who were there, so Nina and I FREAK out completely and go run and buy a bunch of cosmogirls and ap's for everyone. We go around with him and set his books up and we were his assistants for the WHOLE night. First we went around with him with a big money basket where he collected 5$ from people who wanted their books signed early. Nina and I were joking around and everyone was obsessed with us and wanted to get close to David so the people @ JB were trying to get us things and keep our bags and everything. He took us out on his smoking break with him and he told us how to make a million dollars, in all seriousness, and we told him about our plan to make money. He is really obsessed with money, and finding out random things about people, and defacation. This is why I love him. He's actually really vulgar and crass. (Why I love him reason #2)So I will remember this forever, and I am so excited because he really wasn't a letdown celebrity. He was much more down to earth than I expected, but so hilariously messed up psychologically that I couldn't help but crack up at all of the ridiculous ideas that he came up with at the most random of times. God, what a cool guy.
