MID TERMS ARE DRIVING ME MAD!
I really feel like my head is going to burst. I'm sitting here exhausted after an hours worth of outlining the study guide for Music History. Outlining the FIRST CHAPTER THAT IS. i have to go from chapter 2 to chapter 8...that's pages 10-101. and Chapter 2 took me an hour. i'm going nuts!
I took my Vocal Pedagogy mid-term and my Speech mid-term today, i took my Algebra mid-term yesterday...and now i've got this Music History mid-term tomorrow and it's driving me nuts. My teacher is a 24 year-old violin virtuoso who was the 1st chair of some big symphony in Aspen where she got her masters. Now she's the Artist in resident, over achiever violin/theory/music history teacher here at good ol' southeastern college. She uses up every minute of class, her notes have huge holes in them and this mid-term is the only grade in the class. besides the final. i for real have 40 pages of front and back hand written notes that are going to be on this exam. i've never freaked out more about a test than i am about this one. not only do we have those notes, but also a listening section and Score recognition. i'm gonna die. either that or celebrate as soon as it's over and done with.
meanwhile, i'll be performing as "Buttercup" in this spring's production of H.M.S. Pinefore. an Operetta by Gilbert and Sullivan. the show goes up in February...and you're all invited!
