i absolutely can't believe that it has taken me so long to write a post... so much has happened this summer, but then again, it seems like nothing has happened. but for a quick rehash of what has been keeping me so busy and away from my l.j. is....:
* first and foremost, i have been working about 35 hours per week at publix
* i have been helping with home remodeling around the house
* i have been laying around on my ass and trying not to do very much of anything!! ;)
* i have gotten to spend some great time with my gal katie including: movie night to mr. and mrs. smith, preceeded by dinner; bowling night and then ice cream; and movie night again to see wedding crashers!!! I LOVE YOU GIRL!!
* and a various amount of other activities that i can't even begin to remember except for a kayaking trip with my family, my sister's suprise sweet 16th, and some other stuff.
tonight, or rather, this morning... i am so wound up because after closing publix with stephanie, tanya and david (i love you guys!!)... we all went to a bar and had a wicked crazy fun time singing karaoke. tj, brian, amber, alena, david, stephanie, tanya, some girl, and some other guy (sorry, i don't remember your names) and i all had an awesome time!! it was the absolute most fun i have had in a long time! i sang along to tons of songs, but i actually got up with a mike to: "the tide is high" (a publix song for real!!), "dancing queen" (an oldie but goodie!), "sweet dreams" (just a fun one), "take a walk on the wild side" (and the publix girls say: doot da-doot...!!), "friends in low places" (i love my friends in low places!!), "bump 'n grind" (with the guys from the bar!!), "bohemian rhapsody" (is there any better song to sing karaoke?!?!) and finally "new york, new york" (my theme song, and a great way to finish the evening!!) anyways... just wanted to say i had an awesome time, and i look forward to singing with you guys every monday night till i leave!!!
but that's enough for now... it's 2:52am and i should prolly get some sleep. however, i'm off tomorrow (first time in 8 days!!) and i can't wait to just relax. plans for the rest of the week include:
*tuesday: errands, cleaning, working on computer stuff, movies with katie
*wednesday: more computer stuff and closing at publix
*thursday: prolly sleeping and then a date to the movies that night!
*friday: working during the day and then probably partying that night!!
*weekend: who the hell knows??? way too far ahead to plan!!
