Moving is harder than I ever thought it would be.

So for those of you who don't know, Serra and I are moving into our first apartment to-morrow! We will be living at VIP Apartments in Wheeling.

So that being said, I will be without Internet for most likely a few days, 'cuz we have to figure out if we want ATT's DSL or Comcast Cable internet. We get free satellite TV thru ATT and therefore may be able to create a bundle package, but Comcast is faster for pretty much the same price. We're just not sure what the apartment rules are on running cable lines.

It's almost 11 and we are in the midst of packing. I've been 90% packed for a few days, the last 10% i couldn't do b/c Serra's stuff and my stuff are all jumbled together. She's procrastinated so we still probably have a few hours left ahead of us, and we've been packing since roughly 7:00 >_<

I am taking a break, mostly because my back is killing me. Plus I want more pastries--I got bit at work the other day by one of my regular clients and the dog actually drew blood, and the owner felt so bad that she went to Deerfield bakery and bought me a whole tray of pastries and chocolate goodies. Poor Nicky is a 14 year old rat terrier whose nails I trim roughly every 2 weeks, he's a little senile so I forgive him for biting me. Plus, chocolate! Altough I am having to swat Little Boy Cat (aka Shadow) from trying to get in the box every 20 seconds.

We still have the rest of the bookcase to empty, and Serra's dresser (and the clothes in it), and we're going to take the bed apart tonight and sleep on the mattress on the floor. Plus we have to disconnect the gas and move the stove, because otherwise we won't be able to get furniture downstairs. And THEN we have to bring up a piece of furniture from the basement, a buffet that we're going to put 2 of the birdcages on. And then we get to load up the UHaul to-morrow! Fun!

Okay I should go back to packing now, mostly because if I dont' I am going to fall asleep.
