Howliday Inn was my favorite children's book growing up :)

I even wrote him a letter and asked him to write more in the series.
He wrote back a letter that was way too professionally written to address a child that basically said, "No."

I always wondered what made him such a dick. Maybe he hates kids?

Anyways, I don't know if you like reading children's literature as well as writing it, but if you do that was an enjoyable one for me :) But not even close to being in the same league as harry potter.

(and it's about what someone's animals get up to when their owners are gone, very little human presence in the book)

Ooh, it sounds awesome! I totally love children's books, if for no other reason than they are written a lot better than most adult fiction I've read.
