Lost to the Sun
In my mind I dream
Of your eyes
Touches
The feel of your face
Along my fingers
Consuming feelings
On my skin
The dangers of emotional reactions
A rush of climatic whispers
Belonging to; coming from
Between a direction
And a point of reference
A color at the end
Of a spectrum
Is all that it takes before I melt
Opposite of blood, fire and rubies
Intensities next to you
Fade to a pale rose
Rising up between the sheets
And twisted fists
Seeing the sun, moon and stars
Above the horizon
Lost to the sun
Pushing along hips and thighs
A series of thoughts, images
Sensations occurring in my sleep
Where you pleasantly distract the unreal
I look for your face
Call your name
Where your light and shadows
Cover me
Without you
Dreaming of the light
In a world full of pretenders
I wake to darkness
Lost to the sun
