Dear Salman Rushdie,

You might be cool. You might be post-colonial and meaningful and magically realistic and write books that make me re-read sentences and paragraphs over and over and over again.

Or you might be a privleged upper class windbag who writes nonsense that makes me re-read sentences and paragraphs over and over and over again.

Either way, I wish your books weren't quite so long.

But you are my choice for banned book week because I'll be hearing you speak in less than one week. I haven't quite made my mind up about you, but I intend to before I see you. Hmmmm......you just watch it, buster.
