I suppose it is time for an update...

Mike and I were married on May 24, 2008, at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit at Assumption College. YAY! =) Everything was beautiful. Pics are up on facebook, but if you want to see them and you're not on facebook, leave me a comment and I'll send you the link to the whole thing.

Our honeymoon was amazing! We went to the Riviera Maya in Mexico. The resort was *beautiful* and they do everything for you, which is crazy. And it was the first vacation I've ever been on where I could just relax and do nothing! I wish I hadn't had to come home. =(

My brother graduated high school on May 31st. Insane.

Mike and I went out to LA to check out my school, an apartment and all that fun stuff starting June 21. We met up with two AC alums who were amazing, I found a great job, and we signed a contract and a lease. We also met up with my Uncle Arnold and spent a day with him, which was a ton of fun and it is so good to have family close by our new home. Best part? He took us to one of his gun clubs to go shooting! It was so much fun. He promised to take us again and that he'd help me buy a gun =D
Kristen is jealous, lol... but Gibbs would be proud!!

Mike's brother Dave's wedding was in San Diego on June 28th. We spent some time with him family a few days and went to the wedding. It was an outdoor garden wedding and it was... well, it was interesting. The place was cute, the ceremony was stereotypical and cliched, nobody was organized, and everything that could have possibly went wrong did. =\ But Diane still said it was the best day of her life, so that's good.

We also went to the San Diego Zoo before we left, which was awesome! And we went to the beach three times, got burnt twice... and the waves kicked our asses. Especially mine. Definitely fun twice, once I could have done without, lol.

We came home June 30th. Spent the 4th in New Hampshire with my family; bought amazing fireworks. And since then, we've been figuring out life.

I am officially attending LMU for my MA this fall. Mike doesn't have a job yet, but we don't want to be separated and we're going to make it work. Might seem like a silly or stupid idea, but we know what we're doing and I'm confident it will work out. We are going to leave August 4th to start the drive out there. I'm excited to finally have our own place (right now we are living at home because it seemed silly to move somewhere new for only a few months) and be together and get a kitten! Yay!
