Introduction versecollision
I'd say I hate making introductions, but I think most of you have already covered that so I'll just stick to the basics and move along.
My name is Lauren Santini, I'm 20, and I live in Los Angeles at the moment. I'm really from Arizona, but there's a lot of bad memories back there so I really have no intention of going back. My mom died when I was a baby. Some house fire that started in my nursery while I was in it. My dad was so busy trying to save me and find my older brother, he didn't even notice she was in there while it burned. They said she probably passed out from the smoke, but he always swore he never saw her when he went in after me. So you can imagine how much he blamed me. Or maybe you can't. It was pretty bad. I mean, it was awful.
We stayed there, in Sedona, even though my dad never got over things. He just soured, and grew so bitter. When I was 15, he killed himself. My brother was already out of the house by then, so I ended up with my Aunt Lacey until I was 18. But the tragic part of my life wasn't over yet. Two years later, my best friend drowned in a horrible lake accident. No one knows what happened, not even me. And I was there. I just got knocked unconscious somehow. And almost drowned too. Not that that stopped anyone from suspecting me. And that's why I left.
So, here I am, City of Angels.
That means I'll be saved, right?
