Reflections d'aujord hui:
-being alone in the middle of a run on mount hood is about the most peaceful, serene place you could ever be...when you can't see anyone else or hear anything....ahhhhh..delightful
-the tylenol commercial for a "pain free world" makes me ponder. if we really had a pain free world we would never go anywhere cuz nobody would learn from thier pain...there wouldnt be any. pain sucks but you learn from it. like...dont drink 12 shots of vodka in an hour, or dont...uh..i dont know, insert learn-from-bad-experience pain here.
-who thought up teenage mutant ninja turtles?!? did some guy just sit down and go "hmmm...lets make a show about ninjas, no its been done. how about teenage ninjas! no, also been done. How about they're turtles! kids love turtles, dangerous and friendly! hmm...not exciting enough..lets make them MUTANTS!"
i imagine it went something like that...dont get me wrong, thats like my favorite show...but umm.......yeeaaahhh...
there were more that made me feel terribly clever, but i forgot them...long day
but! i have formulated a list! here she blows:
The list of songs that detach my brain cord temporarily (causing unsightly drooling and pants wetting plus tingly sensation)
-U2: sunday bloody sunday and
with or without you
-Radiohead: #5 on Ok Computer...dont know the name...shame on me
-My brightest diamond: something of an end and
#3 on her album..which i also dont know the name of(more shame)
-the flaming lips: yoshimi battles the pink robots part 2
-Nada Surf: The voices, Robot, and 80 (FREAKING) WINDOWS!
-Death cab: we laugh indoors....basically the entire photo album...
-air....basically anything
and speaking of AIR I AM SEEING THEM ON THE 2O SOMETHING OF APRIL IN PORTLAND OHMYGODJUMPAROUNDFALLONFLOORANDDROOL!
