What's up sweetcakes?! Who's hip anyway? Earth girls are easy... what you gonna do? Little Buckaroo?

I've had a good couple of days. I handed in my dissertation with little to no fuss/muss, Mike and I sat watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, whereupon I cried (for the gazzillionth time) whilst watching Cedric, James and Lily returning from the dead and then Cedric's father crying over his son. I wasn't quite as bad as previous times when I properly sobbed out loud in the cinema. Ha well. I had a VERY lazy day yesterday, mostly ate and watched too much crap on TV and I feel very guilty, but I feel I was entitled to a lazy day after the graft I put into my dissertation. I've promised myself I am going to kick ass on my next project, Titles and Content, and really put my all into it. No other projects or distractions, just pure college work. I want to have some decent work when I leave college, even though I'm not a 100% keen on entering the world of design, I'd like to be a teacher or tutor, but I'd love to work as a free lance designer, moving image and graphic design mainly. I'd still love to do film making, but with higher education teaching I can have the holidays to do film projects or summit. I'd like to work at radio 4 as well, or for the BBC in some way, but the other advantage with working as a teacher means I can look after my child and take them on holidays during the school breaks or have the weekends to spend with them, in between marking of course!
I've been giving the child situation a lot of thought, there are so many things I have to pull my act together about! I have to apply for tax credits as soon as possible and sort out student support as well. I still haven't done that stupid risk assessment from college! Sigh. But I feel more confident lately, more up to meeting the challenge.
I'm a bit tired though, but I think it's the atmosphere, it's dark earlier and I associate dark with sleep. Even though I often don't go to bed till late.
Grrr! I've got bites just above my tattoo! Little bastards.
Oh, the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack. IT'S FREAKING AWESOME. I'd recommend you buy/download illegally immediately. It's just so brilliant, it's on par with the Shaun of the Dead OST or the Oh, Brother Where Art Thou? OST. Just such a good mix. Yoko Kanno is a genius.
Anyway, a slightly superficial issue: my baby's name. I've made a list:

Boys (in order of preference):
1. Jack (short for Jonathan so if he's the fifth Jack in the class he can change his name to John, Johnny, Joe etc)
2. Max (short for Alexander, I HATE the name Maximilion. It's stupid)
3. Elliott (NOT after the kid from ET)
4. Sam (short for Samuel and after Sam Vimes)
5. Harry (okay, yes, after Harry Potter and my cousin Harry)

Girls (in order of preference):
1. Matilda/Madeleine (I just love the sounds of the names)
2. Harriett (it's a lovely name and it's cool and different without being stupid)
3. Susan (after my mum, the Doctor's and Death's granddaughter)
4. Eleanor (after Ella, my sister, and Ellie, Ella, Elene for short)
5. Kate (short for Catherine... Yes after Kate Bush)

Well, tis all. I'm off.
