Today I've decided is pie day. We're gonna make a chocolate chip pie. Mmmm, pie. We'd make cookies but we don't have enough brown sugar or butter. So pie it is. We won't eat the pie as quickly as the cookies either.
We've slacked off long enough, back to teaching the child letters and words today. We'll play some games too. It really bums me out there aren't any other kids her age around here for her to play with. That was the only good thing about her going to day care. She's such a social little thing. All that's going to waste. I don't want her to turn out like me. I was a surly child who spent most of her time alone pretending to be aloof. She's a great kid.
