Trevor and Emily left to go to the Braves game tonight. And to get Babs.
In other pet related news. We got a laser for the kitties. Or rather, Tink. Harley could give a shit about a beam of light. Is it bacon/tuna/beef/chicken flavored? No? Then Harley won't be chasing that shit, bitches.
Thinking of the Braves reminds me of several times when I went to a game over the years. I remember the first time I went. It was in September in 1995 with Trevor's Mom, Michael, and Trevor. We had club level seats and I think Glavine was pitching. That team would go on to win the World Series that year. Suck it, Cleveland! I remember going with Anne a couple of times. One time with Anna and Anne which was great. I still have the picture I took of the both of them in front of the statue of Hank Aaron. One of those times was against the Yankees and yes I made an ass out of myself yelling very filthy things to Derek Jeter. Some of those games were at Fulton County and later on at the Ted. There was a time when we got scalper tix and got tossed but not before we got to see Mark Maguire knock one out of the park. Trevor and I took his grandfather to an inter-league game there against the Tigers who ended up spanking the Braves like 11 to 2. I was pregnant with Emily at the time and it was blistering hot. Later on we took Emily to her first game when she was 2 or 3. We were seated in the dollar seats at the very top of the nose bleed seats. My most recent game was a couple of years ago when we went with Trevor's friend Richard and his girlfriend at the time.
Every game was fun even if they lost. Who cared? It was just fun to go.
I hope they have a blast and I hope Chipper goes deep.
They come back tomorrow with Babsie. Woohoo! I'm looking forward to the insanity she'll give this house. :)
