News from the dork front

Trevor finally called me today which is good considering it's his mother's birthday. He would had never known if I didn't tell him. He has been run so ragged he has no concept of date. Today is a short day for him, only twelve hours. He lamented that he had only one half hour to look at the dealer room. He was glad that he had not spent much money. (I looked at his horoscope yesterday and it said that just because he had the money he probably shouldn't spend it. Creepy.) He told me he bought some trade paperbacks. I hope Sandman book one is among them. Vertigo Comics rock!

That aside. He also told me that a friend of his Adam Hughes was no longer working on Wonder Woman. Which almost makes me cry as I loved his Wonder Woman. (Adam is rather famous in the comic community for his pin-up type female figures. They are both stacked and beautiful yet in proportion.) No biggie for him he's great; he already has new projects lined up. At the show he was commissioning sketches for a hundred bucks a pop. I told Trevor that as long as big knockers were in comics then Adam would have a job. (Trevor's told Adam that I always notice that WW is about to spill out of her top but that I think it's okay because her name is WW. I mean if your name is Wonder Woman one would expect you to have magnificent tits.) That and he's a nice guy. I got a great sketch of the pretty bird from him at the last Atlanta ComiCon I went to. Next time I'll ask for Wonder Woman. With spilling cleavage of course. Hey he does draw a great rack.
