I hate Time Warner Cable

If you have Time Warner Cable you are being grossly over charged. Our cable bill is was going to be $120 a month. We've never had a cable bill be that high with any high speed Internet/digital cable package. That is not the main reason why I hate them.

I hate them for the reasons here listed (in no particular order):
When we signed up for internet/cable service, we were quoted a price that would never go up. Which was a lie. Had we known what the price would eventually become we would never have signed up for their crappy service.
Their DVR's suck.
They have the worst customer service possible. I was supposed to have a call back from a supervisor about the fact we were lied to. I talked to several customer service reps a month ago, and I have yet to receive a call back from a single supervisor.
I was fucking lied to so I would buy their crappy service!

So we've canceled our cable but are keeping the internet since you don't get any perks for having the digital cable and the price would be the same anyway. (And because DSL is not available in our area. I don't get that either.) We're getting satellite instead which is cheaper with more channels even after the promotional price goes up to regular price. So if you have Time Warner cable, go satellite since you get more for your dollar.

Last night, we tried watching The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou. I had great hopes for this since I loved The Royal Tenenbaums, but I gave up on it. It didn't have the same magic, and it lost me. Or maybe it was the wrong time to watch it. Either way, I'm disappointed. Bummer.

grrrr
