So thanks to the awesomness that is
karensladder my layout should now be perfect in both browsers! YAY!
finally...
There are only some color problems left now, but I'll take a look at it and see if I can fix it myself.
In other news,
we went to the annual food outdoors thingy downtown-downtown yesterday. Had the usual booths, but it seemed WAY less crowded than usual. Maybe it was an off day?
I got a random pink pig-shaped cookie. It was cute.
And we saw a REALLY awesome band play: Manchester. They are from a college just a few miles from me. Their set was just amazing. I ended up buying their CD :)
It's not as good as they were live (apparently they JUST got a drummer, lol. So no drums on the CD), but still great.
They sing in these fake british accents, I swear xD it's hilarious.
And they're actually on iTunes, which is really weird :\ Wonder how they managed to get that done? 9 months, 3 days; music magazine; and Robin Hood are my favorites songs. Might upload some soon.
In gaming news,
I finally got to Archades in FF12. I must almost be done with the game.. Ashe is level 50 now, can't possibly get too much higher I would think?
I got a trinket thingy that doubles XP earned and have been using it to power level Vaan. It's awesome. He gained 5 levels between two saves xD
I just need to finish all my hunts and i'll be happy. Don't really care if I don't get 100%. As I said from the beginning, I just want to beat the game :P
Then finally I can play some God of War 2 and other junk.
I've also been getting my Guild Wars on lately. That game is still a lot of fun. They changed SO many things since I last played, but still.. it is lacking in functionality compared to WoW. I wish all the good things from both games were combined into one.
Like the interface of WoW, and level of customization with 3rd party mods.
The sleek look of names in Guild Wars (like pressing Alt/Ctrl to see them).
Actually KNOWNING the location of your friends in WoW instead of having to ask xD
The ability to solo when you want in Guild Wars.
The ability to res at your corpse and not lose anything like WoW (so you don't have to start the mission, etc. over EVERY time you die).
And etc..
But I guess you get what you get when you don't pay a monthly fee. They are giving some AMAZING stuff for a pretty much free game.
(Though you could equate the monthly cost of WoW to buying a new game every 5-6 months, not that bad of a trade off?)
uh... yeah.
i'm rambling xD
