The announcement of it was on during the Lost season finale. How cool is that?
And speaking of the Lost season finale, it was AWESOME. It was EXACTLY as this one person said it would be. I can't believe they decided to go that direction. So many possibilities are open, the forums are abuzz everywhere!
I can't wait for season 4, but it's not going to be back for another YEAR pretty much. It starts in February I think :(
In music news,
Tegan and Sara's new album was finally leaked. I'm debating whether to download it all or not. I think I'll just pick a few to get me pumped for the release so there are still new things to listen to when it actually comes out :)
Plus I REALLY want the album sleeves and art.
And DUH, I want to support them with my monetary contribution.
I picked one song already, and it's totally different. It's weird. I think it's Sara singing (lead anyway, i THINK they actually did duets for real on this album) and she sounds fantastic. She sounds really young, but it's really like she sounds in So Jealous.
I have a feeling it's going to be a lot more mellow of an album, a little more depressing. But that's fine. They do that well.
EDIT: OMG! I downloaded 3 more. THEY ARE SO FLIPPING GOOD IT'S INCREDIBLE!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE "Are You Ten Years Ago." It's just.. transcendent! or something :D

Canada..
It was nice.
I sat in the hot tubs a lot. But the caves made me feel sick. Which is a shame :( I couldn't really swim that much because the heat made me so dizzy. They are still really beautiful though. But, it seems to me like they are so much smaller. They changed it a lot, I think.
I enjoyed getting to wear my new swimming stuff though. I actually felt good in it, for once.. until this model girl came out, lol. I didn't think people with bodies like that actually existed, it was kind of crazy. She was nice, though.
We went to Nelson, B.C. which was a really nice town. A lot of college-y type people there. A lot of pubs.
The hotel we stayed in was so pretty. It was like victorian style, or something.
The lady at the front desk had a weird name, too. Afton or something. lol I thought it was pretty cool. All the people there were really nice :) It made me think of the people in Australia.
Except.. minus the accent. Well, I guess canadians have an accent. I love listening to them talk :P It's so strange how they got that. Is it because of the French influence or what? I don't really know.
There was this really neat underground store we went to. They had some AWESOME clothes. I bought a really cool shirt. They had nice jeans, but were like $75-100 which is insane. bleh.
And the Canadian to American dollar isn't as different as it was before, so it would end up being the same cost, not less.
