YAY!! I voted for the first time today! (well if you don't count me punching the hole to vote for Kerry on my mom's ballot in the last election thingy :P) That was so fun!!
Yay for democracy making me excited!

To share my excitement, I bring more Tegan and Sara songs:
From "If It Was You." The second album I bought...
Tegan & Sara - I Hear Noises > This is THE BEST song. It was the one that got me into them in the first place! Not only is the music awesome, the lyrics are awesome, and it has an incredibly awesome music video. SO MUCH AWESOME!
Tegan & Sara - You Went Away > Short, but has a lot of energy.
Tegan & Sara - Living Room > One that took me awhile to like.. Once I started singing along to it, I finally realized how awesome it is.
Tegan & Sara - Monday, Monday, Monday > Has really nice music. Describes Mondays pretty well :)
From "So Jealous." The first one I bought and therefore my favorite :) I LOVE how they sing on this CD. All of the songs are outstanding, but these are my favorites...
Tegan & Sara - You Wouldn't Like Me > Personally, my favorite T&S song EVER. It was what ultimately influenced me to buy the CD :) If you download any of these, pick this one.
Tegan & Sara - Walking With a Ghost > This song in many ways exemplifies who they are. It's always the song you think of when you hear them.
Tegan & Sara - Speak Slow > Very similar in attitude to I Hear Noises. This song is just great... Also has a great music video. It's so upbeat.
Tegan & Sara - I Bet it Stung > Six words: I LOVE THE ROCK AND ROLL!
Tegan & Sara - I Can't Take It > Really sad, but sooo beautifully done and actually kind of calming in a way. Even though it's sad, I'd say it's their best song.

And, while i'm on the topic of music, I finally got Avril's new album.
I have really mixed feelings about it... While I think Girlfriend is a really fun song, some of the other ones are just rediculous in the Gwen Stefani Bananas way >.< UGH.
BUT, some of the songs are actually REALLY good. I LOVE Runaway. Innocence is pretty nice, too. I think I also liked When You're Gone.
But yeah, I still can't figure out her intended audience :P It's so confusing...

A special treat if you've actually read all of this:
Placebo - Special Needs > I've always talked about how amazingly beautiful this song is, so I finally want to share it. I just heard it the other day and felt so unworthy of listening to it's transcendent beauty...
