meeting

went to a meeting thats going to decipher my future.  it doesnt look to good. i am sooo concerned with how it will turn out and what im going to do.  all the business classes are cut!  i wanted to go to school for business so that i can own my own business in the long run.  doesnt look like it'll ever happen now. im so nervous.  the art classes are def getting cut and thats my alternative.  i cudnt believe some of the things that the superintendent were saying. its attrocious.  i mean everything she was saying was either a cover-up, a lie, or she would totally go around the questions being asked of her. she lied!!! i cant believe it.  Mr. Conway brought up a great pt about the music classes;

mc: what r we going to do w/out music classes?

superintendent: well. we didnt cut the music classes.  they havent been cut.

mc: yes they have. my daughter has those classes.

superintendent: ur misinterpreting what im saying. There are NO cuts of the music classes.

Yes there are.  I know for a fact there is. she's a lying son of a bitch.  my friend and i went down to the guidance counselor and asked about a music class.  "They cut that class." she said.  Therefore proving that she's lying and is just trying to get out of it. AP music classes are cut for next year!!!  and anyother great point that i desperately wanted to make!!!;

Whenever mr c wanted to state the pt that music was recommended to be cut by them. they lied and said that that was the principal's fault.  EH! wrong!  The prncipal was forced to cut 15 classes by the school board.  it was his decision--yes--which ones to cut, but he was forced to.  i mean, come one.  obv. he's going to have to cut music, art, etc.  but he was FORCED! is my whole point. there is no way that he's cutting the necessities such as english, math, history and science.  they are completely required!  therefore, his only alternative is to cut the "extra" classes.  what comes to mind is art and music.  What i dont get is why they cut business.  im thinking its because cutting that one teacher would slash the 15 class-cut minimum in half.  But my main point that im trying to get across, is that the principal's were FORCED to cut them classes.  And i had to listen to the school board who was trying to tell ME and my fellow friends that its the principal's fault!

another thing that upset me gr8ly was the fact that a man making the second most $$$ on the school board was telling us that the TEACHERS are making too much $$.  Him of all ppl, shouldnt have been telling us this.  I was sitting beside Mr. Cash who pointed this out to me and explained that that's hypocrisy and that this saying implies; "Those who live in a glass house, shouldn't cast stones!"
