Hello hello my dears, and how are you all this evening? ^_^ So anyway, I was actually wondering if anyone knows why people go to other people's journal's and like make crude comments on them? I mean, even on comm's I've been seeing some pretty harsh things said and it's kinda intimidating because I mean, we're all like a family in a way, and I'm not joking, not making any little funny comment's, I'm just really -well I just really wanna know why people are hurting each other?
There's wars going on all over the world, there's people dying in all kinds of brutal ways. The water levels are all decreasing, our ozone's deteriorating, exam's are happening, and racism and homophobia are still kicking our asses. I mean, why are we all, who share common interests and loves, bringing out the bad in everything and everyone? Like, it kinda hurts, I mean I always thought of some of you as my family in a way, I wasn't given a mom and dad who coddled me and spoon fed me or anything, so I've had to make my own family and use bandaids and ducktape to keep it nice and strong. So to have people being cruel to each other? Have them take what's said and blow it out of proportion and think, "Well hey, it's just the internet, who cares if I sign off or even stay on and post something mean, not like it's actually gonna effect them."
It's actually a pretty strong form of cyber bullying and it's not nice. I sound childish and stupid, and you can roll your eyes at me if you'd like -although everyone on my flist has an amazing heart and you're all understanding so I'm hoping that won't happen -but it should really stop. People are going to be effected by what's said to them online, and they're gonna hurt about it too, it's just the way human feelings are. We hurt, everyone, everything does. If this really upset's anyone, this post that is, I'll delete it, but really, it had to be said. I mean, why should we hurt each other? People give up everything for us all to see us happy and joined together. Look at Martin Luther King Jr., and John Lenon, and for the life of me I'm drawing a blank on amazing people, so feel free to throw some in, but still.
Can't we just -stop? It really hurts to see the one safe place you can come home to after a hard day, that one place where you can sign on and be yourself without fears and shame, it hurts to see it being turned into the same thing a lot of us are trying to escape. Goodness, I give up hours I could spend studying, just to laugh and talk to people I know all over the world from live journal and other places. Not because I hate studying, but because in that moment, I feel like I'm more than just another kid in a High School struggling with teenage years and personal lives and the past.
I'd really like to encourage anti livejournal bullying, and if anyone else wants to encourage this matter also, it'd definitely be shined upon.
Sorry this post was so huge, I'll livejournal cut it in the morning. Although if anyone really doesn't like it being this long and it's spamming your flist, I'll put it under a cut immediately, I promise.
I'm always online after all. *Gives a smile*
