(no subject)
my northern european tolerance for alcohol is annoying at times. i drink wine because i like the taste, and the interaction with food; but i also like the warm fuzziness that accompanies it. if i don't drink, that warm fuzziness doesn't take long to set in... but more than 3 glasses in a week, and my body is like, "alcohol? what alcohol? pfft."
as such, i've decided i'm going to do my very best to not drink any wine or anything until derek and laura get here. that's roughly 9 days. i don't think it'll be too hard, since i'm working the whole week, and i don't really like drinking on nights before i work... dehydration makes for a crappy morning.
also, their first night here is st. patrick's day... i have a feast planned and hard cider is a rather large component.
today is nothing but movies, games and lazing about with the puppy. tomorrow is some form of cleaning/packing. hopefully clothing, maybe books. probably box consolidation. wheee....
