this year's had a lot of ups and downs. for better or worse, it was the year of firsts, and firsts always end (that's why there's seconds! yay thanksgiving related puns!).

i may not be grateful for all the little details, but i am exceedingly grateful to be where i am, with the people i'm with, doing what i'm doing. the alternatives, though potentially more lucrative, would not have yielded the person i am right now. and i like me.

and now, to the turkey!
