it's like new years here in san francisco. horns honking, people screaming (happily? we hope!), champagne toasts afloat...
we're sitting around a table full of food, friends and dogs. it's a small wolf pack patrolling the house. there's tea sandwiches and burrito fixings. the tv is blaring in the background, but in a good way. and even though mccain conceded to obama, we're still waiting. waiting to hear obama speak, waiting to hear if california is really backwards enough to pass prop 8, waiting to see if the senate gets past the filibuster point...
it's a crazy night. but a good night. and votes are still coming in.
