(no subject)
i wrote my mom an email today. i was actually prepared to talk to her, but she declined to say hi when my dad offered her the phone today. i don't know why - maybe she was busy, or just not talkative - but there's a chance i pissed her off with my being pissed off. so, i wrote her a brief letter, clearly stating my feelings, but also that i love/respect her, and that communication is, in my opinion, the key to overcoming negative things. we'll see if she writes back, or calls, or what have you.
so, i'm not looking forward to a potentially negative response, but at least i did something productive about the situation.
i'm in marina right now. the house is roughly 94% finished. we have some stuff to pack, and some stuff to dispose of, but overall i don't feel nearly as overwhelmed as i'd felt the past few weekends. at least this time, there's no mountain of stuff to sort.
and, even though it'll cost me a bit, we don't have to clean! :D
all i can think of presently is food. i had lunch today but the house is so cluttered, cooking is next to impossible, so meals have been rather scanty. danny should get down here from daly city any minute, and then food will be procured. and after that, some packing.
.... anyone want a brand new electric dryer?? we've got one, just sitting here, good to go.
