koji talked to FT JP, and the company agreed to help fund our business cell phones. not only that, they offered to pay for half the purchase price of my new phone. and since koji presented the idea to them using the iPhone as an example, well...

kittie has an iPhone! ^_^

now, i guarantee that if i'd been paying out of pocket for personal use, i would not have purchased an iPhone. i still believe they're flawed and that the hard drive is impractical. but this isn't my new cell phone, and it's not my new iPod. it's my business phone. i bought it for the portable email and internet, and for the business phone number; most everything else is a bonus.

and i have to admit, when i view the device as an email/internet/phone caddy, the small HD becomes a much smaller issue. just don't think of it as an iPod, and suddenly it all seems like a good idea.

that being said, omg is it a sweeeeeeet little device. it's not perfect, not at all, but it's so much fun and way more user-friendly than i expected. /geek out!

tomorrow i face the challenge of picking/choosing what iTunes content i'll load. condensing my library into 5-6 gigs is a joke... but, there *is* a lot of music i don't listen to very often, and i'm sure i can live without all three seasons of the office on the phone. i'll manage. after all, i still have my iPod. that's not going anywhere.

the main task will be forwarding calls from my personal cell to the iPhone. i now have two phone numbers, and all the confusion that entails.

.... iPhone!

love kittie

iphone, ipod, future trust
