(no subject)
well, the hot tub sold. we paid $1,000 and we sold it for $1,000. not bad, all things considered. and then we took dave to outback as a thank you, so after dinner was paid for, we were left with $900. we were originally going to give isaac all the remaining money, to cover july rent/utilities, but then danny got his hands on the cash (yeah, the ppl paid in cash) and suddenly the idea of writing rent checks was fun again... i was going to push for giving isaac the money up front, but then i realized that using the cash for vegas and leaving my bank account the hell alone was a *very* tempting idea. so, we're back to the whole writing isaac checks plan. and i have my $300 for vegas! /gnome cheer!
... of course, danny hasn't actually *given* me the cash. getting him to part with it might be tricky. ^_^
well, the truck is (mostly) packed. our stuff is (mostly) organized. and we're (nearly) ready to relocate ourselves to the bay area. i'm still sort of agog at how quickly this whole moving thing manifested itself...
i'll write more later, but now i have to start helping danny again.
