Finally updating
So this is me too lazy to shower after just having got off work and after a glass of wine, vodka, and sprite. And TV.
Sooo update on my summer:
Things with Mark have been a little rocky lately, but nothing to worry about. It's just the both of us being stressed out with all the stuff we're doing. Speaking of which, this spring/summer I've been taking calc 1, doing research for my Orgo I professor and working at No Thai!. I'm also starting a student organization called Students for Working Mothers and we're trying to get the policies changed surrounding paid maternity leave, flexible work hours, and child care. It's a little slow getting it off the ground because of the lack of people responding to email. Grr.
At No Thai, after working there for over a year, I finally talked the managers into training me as a cook. It's ridiculous because every male they hire are automatically cooks (which includes a 9 dollar pay), but females are only allowed to be hired as cashiers (which is an 8 dollar pay). Also, only cooks can be eligible to become assistant managers with a paycheck of 11 dollars an hour. So it is clearly biased against women and I was not ok with that. So I got on my boss's ass about training me and it definitely took longer than it should have. Anyway, after putting up quite a stink, they finally got me on teh computer as a cook and the owner told me I was better than half the cooks they have. Cause I am the awesome.
Calc I as been ok. I definitely could be doing better in it, buuuut I drink too much lol
And that's the greatest thing about living with Nelhai, Bria, and Jessica. They're the aweosme too. I looove Nelhai more than anything...except maybe chocolate.
I've also been hanging out with Heinl again which makes me really happy because he is so much fun.
Things with my family are also a little odd right now. My sister has been getting in a bit of trouble with the whole prom thing and everything else so my mom is not doing too well. She and I talk everyday and we also happen to talk about Sam at some point. But I am so close with my mom that it's a little scary lol We're best friends and tell each other everything. I even told her that I wanted to get a tattoo and even though she was a little hesitant about it at first, after I told her what I wanted and what it meant to me, she totally supported it. Mark is gonna design it for me, but I'm not sure where I'm gonna put it yet. It was supposed to go on my foot, but now I'm not so sure. We'll see.
Anyway, I'm so ready to shower now and play some wine pong.

My two year anniversary with Mark is in 2 weeks!! Two years....wow.
