Margaret Atwood.
I overslept. Woke up late. Had brunch (which was actually quite good). Fed my body some caffeine. Read Queer Japan. Studied Japanese. Did homework. Avoided interaction with people. Read Atwood. Ate leftovers for dinner.
Tomorrow, I will be sociable again. Really. It's Karaoke day! Shige's birthday! :D
Lalala. I feel so (oddly) unfriendly when I oversleep. Blah.
This afternoon, I was surprised to see Yamazaki-san in the shower hehe. He and this other Japanese man were fixing the sliding door in the shower area. And so I had to postpone my shower (I make shower plans hoho) and went to the lounge. I played the piano for a while. I was supposed to play videogames, but playing videogames alone didn't seem too fun. So I checked the bookshelf, and there she was, a big book containing Atwood's short stories. Yeeeeey.
I brought it back to my room. : )
Then I went back to the shower and Yamazaki-san was gone. Shower time.
Which reminds me:
The lovely Yamazaki couple gave me a piece of cake last Saturday. It was Yamazaki-san's birthday. And apparently I was the 1st one to greet him that morning. Hoho. They're so nice : )
This is the 3rd piece of cake I received from them since I arrived in Japan.
(plus the many odd yet tasty drinks they gave me)
I feel so grumpy whenever I oversleep. I stayed in my room for most of the day (and evening). I didn't talk to anyone. Hermit yo.
It's good that I don't have classes every Monday.
I only went out of my room to eat/refill my cup with some drink (NOTE TO SELF: NEVER BUY THAT LEMONADE AGAIN)/take a shower/use the restroom/buy coffee downstairs hehe/ask Naka & Megumi to check if my homework is right hehe/talk to some people for tomorrow's plans ~ Megumi is ze mastermind of it all.
Tonight, Megumi called me and asked me to help her with her essay. So I finally went out of my room. Megumi's room smells nice hehe. She was writing an essay about the Political Economy of the South Korean Culture. Wow! Soooo interesting! ^_____^
I've been listening to Creep (Radiohead), Maroon5, and Take Care of My Cat's OST for hours. Must stop.
Japanese speech, hello there. I shall stop ignoring you. Let's work.
OH, AND:
I'm planning on getting a haircut. I haven't had one in a while and my curly hair is starting to get too long and curly. Not a very good combination. But I'm not sure what kind of haircut I should get. (Hair and fashion and things related to such cause me much bafflement). I might ask Elsa for some help hehe.
