Again I'm going to spam you with Kaori Yuki goodies, sorry. I didn't watch the Oscars save for some coverage on Ellen and Al Gore on CNN (cut him off with the music...classic! XD). Sigh, I wonder what the country would have been like if Florida hadn't been an ass 7 years ago. >_>

Raws for Cruel Fairytales, Kaine, Boys Next Door, and Blood Hound here. Blood Hound actually has two more chapters to it than Sakura Crisis worked on, as well there are a bunch of old one shots included with pretty much all of them that I don't think have been translated by anybody. They're quite dated looking. ^_^'

Kaori Yuki goodies are always appreciated! Actually, I'm currently in the process of making some Ludwig icons for my LJ, and was planning on writing an entry fangirling over the Ludwig raws posted over free_manga but I needed to rant about the Oscars as well as proclaim my love for Al Gore once more! You didn't miss much, though, the ceremony was a bore even though Ellen was quite funny. The best parts were those involving Al Gore (and Leo's adorably mancrush on him, too) and Martin Scorsese finally getting an Oscar!

Thanks for the tidbit! I have to say, though, I don't think I'm liking Blood Hound so far. Probably because I don't find the main character too likeable, but I will try to give it another chance, I suppose.

I'd say the last chapter of Blood Hound is probably my favorite, but that's because it's complete and utter crack. It's not a very good series, I admit. Cain, Ludwig, and Boys Next Door are probably my faves, Kaine isn't that bad either.

Also, the character design, at least the main female character's design, isn't too impressive. She looks like the generic shoujo heroine, which is odd because Kaori Yuki draws some of the most beautiful female characters. Yeah, Cain, Ludwig, and Boy Next Door are also my favorites, with Kaine not too far behind. Angel Sanctuary, I only cared for several characters, so overall not a favorite of mine, though the characters I did end up liking are, well, teh love.

I really don't get all the praise Angel Sanctuary gets. If the side characters weren't good I wouldn't have cared for it at all. I'd say my favorite character is Kira and pairing would be Rociel and Katan. Setsuna and Sara make me scratch my head, Sara does beat Setsuna on so many levels though.

Wait until you see the last chapter, she looks pretty good as a guy. XD

I'd like to see another work out of her like Boys Next Door, but I'll settle for Ludwig crack. ^__^

I agree. I think Count Cain is much better and the fact that Angel Sanctuary is much popular puzzles me. One thing that drove me insane about Angel Sanctuary was the fact that it focused for like a volume or two only on a specific set of characters while not letting the reader know what else is going on with some of the other characters (like, we had to wait almost 15 volumes to see more of Rosiel and Katan) and I just remember being like, "ok, I don't particularly care for Katou... please show me wth is going on with some of the other characters already!", almost about to drop the manga completely. I liked Kira and Rosiel quite a bit, I just wished we had seen more of Rosiel (and Katan); there's a lack of color art with the two of them as well, in fact, there isn't a single image with the two of them in any of the two artbooks. ;o; I also really liked Zaphikiel and Raziel (and was completely heartbroken when Zaphikiel... yeah), they are like a not fucked up version of Rosiel and Katan ( ... )

That was the main problem with the series, it felt like it was all over the place. I think the scope was just a bit too grand. How many times did Setsuna idiotically go "I'm going to go to hell/heaven/pizza hut to find Sara and bring her back!" It got old real fast. It's not good when the lead is annoying. Cain could kick his ass, and he's a little shrimp (whack him with his cane and sic Riff on him).

I'm planning on including some of Kaori Yuki's works, of course. I just need to sit my butt down in front of Photoshop and Irfanview and make some bases first. ^^

LOLOLOLOL, Pizza Hut! 8D It is highly aggravating to read a manga where you can stand the lead character and find the supporting characters more interesting. Cain and Ludwig can tag team and kick Setsuna's ass easily, even without Ludwig having to break his glam nails. Actually, Ludwig can kick his ass WHILE molesting Wilhelm AND staring at some girl's boobs. Yep.

Yay, I hart ur icons! :D Coloring Kaori Yuki's stuff can be both easy and hell sometimes. Srsly.

Psst, Fairy Cube raws. I think all we're really lacking now are Cain raws.

No kidding. Just about as bad as RG Veda, strangely I find X easy to color. ._.
