hey court, theres this movie that you and i used to LOVE and i can't figure out what its called or how to find it.... tell me if you remember.

it was a fantasy movie... something about this dwarf guy coming from the end of the rainbow and meeting these kids. they go back with him... its this magical land and theres this weird slide that people slide down into this pit of goop or something and they turn into butterflies or fairies or something when they go down the slide... he's trying to convince the kids to go down the slide and they refuse.... um, i think that the guy also somehow brought like gold dust with him from the other side of the rainbow... and this human guy gets a hold of it and basically goes crazy. do you have ANY clue what this is?? its frustrating me because i can't figure it out!

they turn into butterflies!!! i totally know that movie. you have NO IDEA how long i have been searching for it! forever and ever and ever! i tried asking mom and she doesn't know. trust me. holy crap, you have just validated my sanity thank you. something about leprechauns, which is why there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. i dont know what the name is :( :( i would KILL to know though omg

LMAO!!! as soon as i read this i started laughing! i never knew that you were looking for it too! lol i never thought you'd remember because we were so young when we used to watch this... and i figured if its this blurry for me, theres no way you'd even remember any of it!

i've been looking for it forever too!! i have no idea where to even look. if only i knew one of the actors in the movie!!... i've tried looking up keywords in imdb and everything... i just have no clue :(

yeah like i've tried looking up on yahoo "sliding down rainbow and turning into butterfly" and shit but it's no use! lol it's just weird because i can only remember bits and pieces. that was a really "dark" movie wasn't it??? kinda like a "return to oz" sorta thing

it was dark. i remember the human guy that got a hold of the gold dust going insane... like going after his girlfriend with a shotgun. i think they were pub owners?

i remember that the slide was really ominous too... there was some sort of like mud creature that ruled the whole place and thats what you were sliding into to become a butterfly... it was kind of scary, and the kids were being forced down the slide against their will.
