(no subject)
I'm 31 now. I've had this livejournal since I was 15. The last 15 years may have contained almost as much growth as the first 15.
I need to forgive myself for who I was. Remember Proust: we all die many deaths.
I'm spending my days preparing to go to Germany for the next year. My dissertation is almost complete. My defense date is scheduled for August, 2022. Then I'll be done with degrees. To be fair, I already feel like I am done "working for a degree." The biggest change in my life has been finding a love and passion for philosophy intrinsic to the work itself. I am zealot for truth.
Thank God that I woke up in time.
