I've written my dissertation. I am in the process of editing it. I have two more years of funding, so I have finished quite early. But the two years won't go unused: I plan on reading a lot of stuff I should have but haven't yet and learning more about myself philosophically. I've discovered myself to be a transcendental phenomenologist. I've discovered the importance of reading the philosophical tradition of Descartes, Kant, Hegel, and Husserl as unified under the common recognition that one cannot have an experience outside of one's own experience. This insight will be fundamental as I develop philosophically.

I also plan on writing, in addition to the dissertation, a manuscript on paranoia and first philosophy. This will be my first major original philosophical work. After that, I'll write a book on sexual ontology, and another on the ambiguity of all ethics, taking off from Beauvoir.

In the meantime, I am in isolation trying to prevent myself from thinking about the horror of no longer existing one day. How cruel it is that we would want neither  death nor eternal life (of this kind).
