Wedding bands

After 15 years of marriage (in sept), things change, most physically notable, the size of a ring finger. We have decided that since neither of of can wear our original wedding bands, we are going to replace them with new matching ones. We went to Vulcan's Forge, down in the Westport shopping district. It is a jewelry store located inside of Aquarius, our most notable local occult/spirituality store. We pickked out two beautifully matching knot patterns in silver. THey remind me of a handfasting ribbon. They are very beautiful. We also decided that since we were well without when we got married and unable to provide Kay with her engagement or stone ring, now is the time. We had them custome design a simple yet elegant band that will hold 3 stones, amnethist inthe center with two, citrine (sp) on either side. These are the birthstones of our children. Well citrine isnt truly Novembers stone but is an affordable alternative to it keeping the ring within our budget. Kay is so happy and I feel pretty good about things. We had decided a while back that for our 20th anniversary, we are going back to the ren fest, where we honeymooned, and have our vows renewed, but we have decided that this year, we are going to do something of some sort with our new rings, some sort of ceremony. THis is nice.
