Lois shuts the door behind her with a sigh, grumbling under her breath about officials using ridiculously transparent tactics to try to avoid having to be interviewed. Not like she doesn't have enough to do without chasing people down on what are supposed to be her off hours. God knows Clark doesn't have enough time to deal with the wedding; that leaves her to take care of it except when she drags him in partly just for form.
(She's starting to think that, at this rate, if this one doesn't work next time they're just going to City Hall and damn the traditional ceremony, she is not sinking the time--or money--into this all over again.)
Tossing her bag absently on the couch, she decides to forgo all cooking attempts by either of them and walks towards the kitchen to dig the Chinese menu out from the drawer they keep take-out stuff in.
