It's a small world after all...

So a couple of weeks ago I get added on MSN by some guy named Matt, telling me that he is a skin that just moved to Israel from Canada. He is dating one of my friends and she gave him my MSN address.

So we decided to meet up at Mike's after last tuesday's workday. I got to mike's, gave him a call and he told me he'd be late, so I started my drinking at the buzzstop because I'm not going to pass on a 12nis ( roughly measures to 2.40$) a pint happy hour. After a few of thos we met up at Mike's and I took advantage of their "buy one glass of whiskey get the other for free" happy hour thing, so basically by the time we got over the mandatory 'guy meets a guy over the net and they meet up' awkward moments, the conversation was pretty flowing. He seems like an honest, friendly guy and he didn't try to act tough or tell me any old fight stories (the main topic skins here talk about when they first meet) which I appreciated a lot. But most important, he is basically my age. Is it just here or is it like that everywhere that the average skin's lifespan is a year and a half, usually somwhere at their teens?

Anyway, we found out that we have a common friend in the states, that told me LOADS of stories about him way before I met him and vice versa and then it started to feel like we knew each other for a long time.

Makes me happy. Been a while since last I could talk with anyone scene related around here.
