In response to a co-worker rambling about the Space Shuttle replacement program and "Aero-Spike Engines" and advancing space technologies he read about on Wikipedia and other information sources, I started rambling about P-Funk's Mothership Connection and Starchild's Bop Gun armament.
I hoped this would help convey how silly it seems to speculate on what might be possible with something called "Aero-Spike". Upon later reflection I realized that there isn't a hope in hell of that actually taking place. Shame.
