I will never forget those heartwarming words spoken by the bartender at Jillians *LMAO* She was a really beautiful woman (looks like she could be a model with legs up to here *motioning to chin*), but dammit if she didn't have a mouth on her *LoL** I guess workin' with drunk fools all day kinda brings out the sailor in people *LMAO*
Jillians is a really cool spot that has pool tables, video games, ping pong, darts, and a dance floor with a live DJ :-) It's a good place to leave your work week behind you and just chill out with your friends and shoot some pool and catch up.
I got to Jillians at around 9:30pm and as places like this go...somethin' out of the ordinary always happens to me within' the first 5 minutes and this time was no exception *LoL* I walked in and some friends announced that it was my birthday and the bouncer asked for a hug (I know....odd!), so I give him a big ole' happy-to-be-alive hug and you know how you can tell what type of hugger people are by how quickly they pull away *LoL* Well, this guy expected a quick hug, but I'm not that type of person so he was suprised and said, "Damn, that was like it was MY birthday!" *LMAO* He was a small guy (big, but small if that makes sense) and I had heeled boots on which put his head right near *cough*"the twins*cough* and I didn't realize that until AFTER it was brought to my attention by Mr. Man *LoL* I got "the look" but he couldn't get mad at me because it was MY BIRTHDAY and the rules cleary state that I'm free of blame or accusation until the time I wake up on the 24th *LoL*
I told people not to bring gifts...just themselves :-) Everbody listened, but feelin' guilty, they ALL bought me drinks *LMAO* I'm a lightweight, so I was good to go after 2-3 shots (mind you we had 16 of my good friends there!) I will never let myself get drunk to the point of passin' out/blacking out and I've never been ignorantly drunk and I upheld this tradition just so we get that straight *LoL* There's an art to accepting drinks whick entails sipping and building a relationship with the waiter *LoL*
My favorite drink of the night:
"Chocolate Cake"
3/4 oz vodka
1/4 oz Frangelico® hazelnut liqueur
1 slice lemon
sugar
Pour 3/4 oz of vodka and 1/4 oz frangelico into a shot glass. Cover the slice of lemon with sugar.
Bite on the lemon with sugar on it and hold the juice in your mouth. Then take the shot while the lemon juice is still in your mouth. You now have a chocolate cake shot.
I'll be damned if that shit didn't taste JUST LIKE chocolate cake *LoL* Ya gotta be careful though because you can get seriously messed up if you don't watch yourself or have someone watchin' you *LoL* The realness of the chocolate cake is somethin' else though...woooooweeeee!
After two shots I decided to play ping pong....not the most brilliant idea I've ever had! *LMAO* Playin' with me went like this...
*Player#1 serves ball*
*J watches the ball bounce right off the table*
*Player#1 serves balls again*
*J tries to focus and swings stright ahead for a ball that's about 2 inches to the right of the paddle*
I moved on to the video games and played this realistic truck driver game where you're behind this massive steering wheel...all I can say about that experience is DAAAAMN! I would not trust me to deliver a truckfull of packing peanuts let alone actual merchandise *LMAO*
Around midnight we hit the dance floor and stayed there until the placed closed down at 2am. It's great bein' the birthday girl on the dance floor! It's even better bein' the birthday girl filled with drinks on the dance floor!!! *LoL* For some reason everyone wants to dance with the chick in the middle who's doin' her thang while people on the outside are swaying in comparison to the ham *LoL* Even my friends who so firmly stated, "I'm not gonna dance...I'll be at the bar" ended up gettin' down to the Top 40 *LoL* What can I say...a good time is contagious :-)
So that was the condensed version of my birthnight :-) We went to a restaurant afterwards and I finally walked into the crib at around 4:30am.
It was a great night ;-)
