You need to sue your English teacher if you ever had one. No one expects you to write an essay when you fill the application out but basic punctuation which even a 3rd grader can master should go without saying.

i know that this will sound rude, but i can't help this: Yes, I can handle basic punctuation and perfect grammar when I feel the need to do so. However, LiveJournal does not seem like something that requires proper English. I would much rather relax and not feel stress; not using strict grammar rules makes me feel less like I am stuck in school. See, I can use proper grammar; I can even use semi-colons properly. I make quite similar comments to other people about proper grammar, but I do not stress over it that much. I don't like it when people type as though they have never been taught English in their lives, for example: omGzzzzz! diiS iis soOooOo keWL!!!1!1 ( ... )

No, I wasn't trying to be rude and I don't consider your comment rude either. Remember that at the end of your application you told us to tell you what we think of your application, so I did.

I'm am relieved to know that you can 'handle punctuation' and 'even use semi-colons' (cUz SeMi-CoLoNs R LyKe So HaRd To UsE!!!111one).

I make quite similar comments to other people about proper grammar, but I do not stress over it that much.
Why that's just lovely. As you can see, I obviously stress a lot more than you do.

As for proofreading my own comments: the only time I ever asked anyone for their thoughts on what I wrote was for my own application and no one seemed to have a problem with my punctuation then. Like I said, no one expects us to write essays on LJ and I don't.

If you really want to know what else I didn't like about your application, I hereby provide you with a list:

C - Child abuse: absolutely unacceptable. no child deserves to be hit, starved, verbally abused, or otherwise. it's crushing. even the worst child in the ( ... )

That's better. I actually appreciate it (minus some of the snide remarks).

And yes, "worst child in the world" is really poor phrasing. I assumed that what I meant would be somewhat implied. But, whatever. I'm fine with that.

I can take negative feedback well actually. Just not last night, as my grandmother died and I was a little on the edge. But, I believe i handle negative feedback well. such as in the other rating community I joined based solely on pictures and people were extremely blunt. I've had worse to deal with than you, and I tolerate it. I just don't feel that should take comments that apparently judge me completely on my gramatical errors, especially when it's from a stranger.

I'm over it though, and I appreciate that you took the time to point out what you didn't like.

But now I feel as though I should stop the voting here. I really only joined because my friend and I wanted to join this a year ago but didn't have cameras. I liked the old application better. Thanks for your time though!

about fall out boy: exactly. there are more songs than just fall out boy, overplaying sugar we're going down is killing the band. that's why i'm liking it less.

sorry, that made no sense whatsoever. i mean like, i still like them, but i liked it when not everyone in the world was walking around singing their songs. like, i'm fine with everyone suddenly loving fall out boy, i just don't like it when "new" bands are sort of "discovered" and they just zero in on one song and like never give it up until the song is dead. it just irks me a bit. but i appreciate getting feedback.
