Quick Thoughts On The Experience
I finished it late last night. I didn't want to, because I didn't want the series to be over, but I did so I could read what happened. Overall, I didn't feel like it was best of the series and while I was reading it I kept feeling a sense of unsatisfaction. I still quite enjoyed it. But I felt like it had an aura of fanfiction, but not of the really good kind. I was shocked that there weren't more deaths, to be honest; it seemed less dark than the dueling in the Half-Blood Prince, maybe even from Order of the Phoenix. But there were definitely rather dark points, but maybe the scenes tended to just skim the surface? I'm really confused about how I feel about everything. How it turned out, because while everything seemed to be wrapped up for the conclusion of the series, I don't know that it was completed in a satisfying way. Two things, though: 1) Severus Snape continues to be my favorite character from the series. 2) What epilogue? Because one surely doesn't exist to me.
