it's wednesday already?

despite having listened to two rather in-depth speeches pertaining to the great misfortune that can befall one if one does not purchase concert tickets simultaneous to their release, gavin failed to buy our tickets. the only reason he was buying them in the first place is because i don't own a credit card, retarded, i know. we do however each own a 3-day camping pass, so i'll actually end up turning a profit when i sell the thing online.
i went to this sound tribe sector nine show last week. it was a bit too trance-like for my taste, but the musicians were all really good and it was fun dancing music. the light show and floral arrangements were nice additions also.
there's a bunch of other cool shit coming up i feel. i bought two tickets to the santa cruz symphony. they're performing the rach 2, which i'm literally going to shit my pants to, as well as some brahms symphony, and a piece by a more contemporary guy perhaps. it's billed as "Rhythms and Romance" which is one of the most cheesy things i've heard in a while. "the opening center" is probably still worse.
april may have potential, if i bring my car up after spring break. the thermals, mew, and the decemberists are all playing in san francisco.
i've felt completely sluggish this past month since my bike was stolen. walking around does not provide the same excersize as riding. this is undoubtedly only going to be worse if i bring my car up. i need to play more sports.
i'll be one of four students from my poetry class to give readings at an intro level reading, which is such a lame accomplishment because we were the only four to volunteer but i guess i am at least minimally excited.
