Excuse for lateness: I was busy cleaning my room for the new year and did not come on LJ until now.

Directed here when I asked riiche to tell me more about Heechul, whom I have zero knowledge of. I kind of like your version of him. Make that a lot.

Clare. Clare. Clare. This fic is so clever and subtle and I. Augh. Using the theme of traveling as a way of progressing the Y/J relationship. Odd numbers for Heechul/Yunho interaction and even numbers for Y/J. How Heechul saw it coming at the very beginning, and that is why he and Yunho are friends. Jaejoong as a 'new place' of sort and Heechul as home. Jaejoong as Japan/Paris. 5. Heechul looks at Yunho with sharp eyes. “You don’t look happy,” he decides. “Well, I mean, now you do. But you look like you weren’t.” / “I wasn’t,” Yunho confesses. “I didn’t like Japan.” / “Japan’s done something funny to you, Jung. Go home and see your mother.” 7. “Paris was nice.” He shrugs. “I wouldn’t stay there.” 9. “How was Japan?” Heechul asks Yunho warily, as if he’s afraid of the answer. He has good reason to be. “I hope you didn’t miss home too much.” / “Honestly?” Yunho shrugs. “It wasn’t that bad. Maybe I’ve gotten used to it.”

My heart goes out to Heechul because I can sort of grasp the emotion of jealousy and helplessness losing your best (?) friend to a new romance in progressive steps, and someone you don't quite approve at that.

I have no way of letting you know exactly how amazing this fic is. It is so, so, so, clever and poignant but not an in-your-face kind of gah. I DON'T KNOW! IT'S SO GREAT. IT'S JUST SO GREAT.

Maybe you should tell me more about Heechul, too *dies*

The way I see Heechul is that he is...very smart and unafraid of ruffling a few feathers but a great friend to the people he likes. He can be very, very mean (read: extremely bitchy) but...I don't know, there's a lot to like about Heechul too. dies I have no idea what I just said there. :[
