Kids these days...

Being my usual productive self I have been Playing runescape again today, and generally contemplating how people gather the will to just keep living, when I was messaged by one Alpha_Delta6.

Being the not-too evil person I am, I decided to reply back and after a while of engaging in idle chatter and having to hear him drone on about whether I had an in game BF (crazy sick concept) and then back tracking by saying he couldn't see the point of having one either O_o (Why did he bring it up then? In the hopes of being able to deride me if i said "yes, yes I do"?)

After a while he suddenly proposed that we should be "friends" a concept that is sutibly abhorent to me. Friends? In a computer game, based on having talked to me for all of 2 mins? So I ignored the comment and had him ask again. Feeling guilty I agreed on the condition that he wouldn't want me to be some kinda "Best Pal" and spend my R&R time chatting to him and trying to maintain a state of AWAKE.

...More idle chatter, this time about his familly and I found it he comes from a familly of high Flyers. Then he asks that question "So what's your job" >_< I have learnt to hate that question. Apparently it defines the very essence of who you are to most people and saying that you don't have one at the moment is paramount to saying "yes I am a worthless Maggot, thanks for noticing."

No surprise then when he suddenly gets HTT after hearing about my breakdown and that fact that I have only just decided to try and become a Japanese translator. So I shrug him off with an "Ok then, Good luck with life and everything" only to later stumble across him again and all of a sudden he is yet again talking to me? This after the guy told me to "Get a life and get a job!" Don't kids just say the darndest things. He then ask how my whole "Jobless rebellioun" was going. In my oppinion there is nothing less rebel than being jobless!

I am so fed up of people hearing 2 secs of your life and deciding they know your motivations and what makes you tick. If people would just spend an hour or so getting to know one another rather than declaring war on anyone who doesn't follow their exact ethos, there would probably be a lot more peace and harmony in the world!

There, Server Angst quota filled for the day.
